T-Ball League Guideline
T-Ball: A program recommended for 4, 5, and 6 year olds to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. All batters will hit the ball from a batting tee which is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level. All rostered players present for the game bat in order, whether playing defensively or not. Each player plays a minimum of two innings defensively. An adult coach is stationed beyond the infielders in order to provide instruction to all defensive players. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive team environment.
All T Ball games will be played on Saturdays.
All TBall teams should practice once per week, weather permitting.
Coaches and Parents should come together to establish an appropriate practice day.
Parents should not be afraid to help participate in practices to help the coaches. A Team Mom should be established to help with some of the team updates and events as well as work with the coaches to help gather information from other team parents.
Opening day is the 2nd Saturday in April. Pictures will be done on this day as well at the Warwick Police Station directly across the street from the fields. Please see your coach for your team and individual player picture time.
Uniforms will be passed out prior to opening day.
Have fun, these are some of the best days you will remember your son or daughter before they grow up and become teenagers!
